About
An Elbow Arthroplasty is performed on patients suffering from elbow pain and disability to restore function. During this procedure, the damaged parts of the humerus, the ulna, and the radius, that make up the elbow joint, are replaced with artificial components: a metal and plastic hinge with two metal stems.
What It Treats
An Elbow Arthroplasty can alleviate pain and/or disability resulting from a variety of conditions, including arthritis, fractures, instability, or other injury.
